DALLAS – June 16, 2016 – At the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in Phoenix, Mary Kay Inc. received the DSA Award for Excellence in Sales Force Development Business Training for the company’s successful creation and deployment of a new technology resource available to the global beauty company’s European independent sales force.

Every month, thousands of women start an independent Mary Kay business in one of 11 countries across the Mary Kay European Region. With Mary Kay Strong StartTM, new Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants now have an interactive and personalized online resource that customizes the onboarding and education process in nine languages.

The technology framework for Strong StartTM was developed by Rallyware Inc. The mobile-optimized platform complements Mary Kay’s recognition-driven culture with the ability to generate rewards by earning badges and points through the completion of different training activities and tasks. The activities of each user can be tracked, providing the opportunity for additional customization as each new Independent Beauty Consultant progresses through the platform.

Since the program launched, more than 12,500 Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants have participated in Strong StartTM across Mary Kay’s Europe region completing nearly 100,000 education tasks within the platform.
